Wonderful conclusion to the series Lovely writing Great heroine I "loved this series and this book was the perfect finishing touch I wasn t sure how Ms Aukes was going "this series and this book was the perfect finishing touch I wasn t sure how Ms Aukes was going end the series but she perfectly tied up all the lose ends and left the eader with hope I look forward to eading other things she has written SummaryWith winter fast approaching Cash and the Camp Fox group take a hit that kills many of their survivors When they join forces with another group Cash Clutch and Jase soon find out that there are still many dangers out there despite the lack of Zeds over the winter Also Benji s story from the beginning of the outbreak is shared at the end Personal Opinion I was very curious how this saga was going to end It did include the same amount of action Of course It did include the same amount of action Of course was a lack of zombies as winter arrives and freezes the emaining ones wandering around Instead this book focuses on the dangers of other survivors and Lifting remaining animals which at times seemed even worse than the zeds The ending was wrapped up nicely and I d definitelyecommend this saga to any zombie lovers It seems the author introduces new characters for no other eason than to die a horrible death I like zombie post apocalypse fiction and for what it is this series isn t bad But it like zombie post apocalypse fiction and for what it is this series isn t bad But it not one of the better series either Being a Midwest girl Rachel Aukes s Deadland Saga sucked me in and spoke to me because I know the cities and landscapes She has an amazing talent for turning innocuous everyday places like big box etail stores into terrifying zed zones I loved the adaptive euse of the Perkins flag as a symbol of New Eden The camp meal prepared on the altar table of an abandoned church is a pure literary gem of imagery The description of bombed out bungalow neighborhoods in Des Moines struck a chord too And if you have ever been caught in a bad snowstorm on a ural Iowa interstate compounded by no plows and no oad salt you know why Clutch Crew were hustling to get to home base Compared to Books 1 and 2 in the series Book 3 was not so focused on the zombies but the impact of the devastation of civilization The conclusion of the critically acclaimed DEADLAND SAGAWinter has arrived It has been nearly one year since the zombie hordes claimed the world As the plague eats away at its victims’ bodies the Fox survivors search for a safe place to ebuild what they have lost But Zombies and I don t handle suspense well Well folks I m not even going to write that any because that would be a complete lie Thank Rachel Aukes you ve uined horror for me No longer do I fear the unknowns of the literary world No longer do I mock zombies Rachel Aukes has made me a believerGoing into this novel was one of the most bittersweet experiences I have had as a blogger As anyone who The House That Had Enough read my other twoeviews and The Devil's Snake Curve: A Fan's Notes From Left Field read my year endecap could tell you this was one of my most anticipated The March Up: Taking Baghdad with the 1st Marine Division reads of 2015 so of course I was pumped to check it out On the flip side I knew this would be my final adventure alongside the characters I had grown so incredibly close to 400 pages to see if these heroes would live die or even become the living dead themselves Emotionsan high but I knew with Rachel Aukes at the helm I would not be disappointedI ll just flat out tell you now that if today was the final It s been a long long time since I finished the Deadland Saga book 2 by Rachel Aukes still I easily slipped back into this Pimpinella Meerprinzessin 1: Ankunft im Muschelschloss (German Edition) rotting world where the people are as much to fear as the living dead Deadland Rising is a fineead to close out the series eually as good as the previous two books I often find that trilogies un out of steam and feature a little too much padding This is certainly not the case here This is my favourite zombie series a little too much padding This is certainly not the case here This is my favourite zombie series a doubt Despite the long pause between book 2 and 3 I m sad that I have come to the end I could easily hook up with Cash Clutch and the crew again And so55 shambling corpses from the Grim Reader Okay so here s the deal I promised to have this book ead and Défendre Jacob reviewed two weeks ago Which if we want to get technicalI did But being that Deadland Rising is the final chapter in Aukes Deadland Saga I absolutely had toeread it before I could give my final thoughts Honestly I M Sti I M So I m sti I m so to have finished this trilogy I loved it and I can t believe my days with Cash and Clutch are over Zombies and end of the world fiction are not Darfur's Sorrow: A History of Destruction and Genocide really my thing but this series grabbed me and I can tate this saga highly enough Love love loved it So bloody good. Endure in this barren hostile world Even that might not be enough Deadland Rising is a journey through Dante Alighieri's “Paradiso” the classic tale on the seven virtues zombie apocalypse styleBook 1 100 Days in DeadlandBook 2 Deadland’s HarvestBook 3 Deadland Risin. ,
