It s always good to go back and reread a classic from childhood This is a very entertaining book This book was okay also because it talked of a young sailor who who washed up on Lilliput and was taken hostage by miniature people who taken them hostage and was made to meet their ing and sooner or later learned their language then eventually left then went back to sea and was brought to brobdingnab by a freak accident and was in a land of giants and had went over the same process and had some fun mini adventures and was taken away by a big bird This bookGulliver s stories by Scholastic INCRetold from Jonathan SwiftP1 P52Time122775min7 summarydoctor voyage disaster huge Lilliput language free1 discussion uestion if you lost everything in a countryExcept Japan and were helped by local people after that would you live in the country or go back Japan And whyA Maybe I would live there if the 1st language were English It is because I would like to help the people who helped me there Also I would like to express the attitude to appreciate for the Las Maravillosas Obras de Dios: Historias Bblicas Para La Familia kindnessMy thoughtI remember this character Galliver from a movie This is a still wonderful story How huge he is But little men and women are so pretty I can t imagine if I were a huge woman or too small woman But it would be so interesting In 5 chapters I especially like the scene that HUNDREDS women measured his height to make one shirt for the huge man That s so funnyI d love to read the next chapter soon Time19 70minP53 P957 summaryBlefuscu help Nardac the highest honor slave friend ships return1 discussion uestion If you were Gulliver and were asked to help making slaves in another country by aing would you accept the favor What would you do Why

Edward W. Dolch ´ 8 SummaryE s just about finished with the cute series of Littles books so I guess he s on a tiny peop I normally prefer to read the original stories rather than adaptations but our oldest got this book in her fifth grade class and really liked it so she brought it home for us to read together This book offers condensed versions of two of Gulliver s tales where he visits Lilliput and Brobdingnag The book took us a lot longer to read together than I expected but overall we found the tales to be interesting I wonder how much was edited though and at times the narrative felt a bit flat The illustrations were very nice and really helped depict Gulliver s experiences in these two very different locations Our oldest loved the author s note at the beginning of the book that explains a little of the political commentary that Jonathan Swift subtly included within the tales Lemuel Gulliver a voyager of the sea He leaves his homeland England in search of adventure He washes up
on a strange island The people speak a different language have odd rules and are fearless Will they welcome Gullivera strange island The people speak a different language have odd rules and are fearless Will they welcome Gulliver open arms or will there be warI enjoyed the book as the author has written certain situations which you can relate in your everyday life For example When Gulliver washed up in Lilliput he did not exactly fit in due to his massive height This situation can be related with your first day of school You don t now anyone or anything And it gets pretty awkward when trying to talk with your classmates for the first time I finished this book in about 2 days I felt the story would have been better if the author gave a bit information on Gulliver s family This is because whenever the subject changes to Gulliver s family all you now is You don t come to now about the bond with his family Although I feel he didn t like his family that much Why would he travel so much if he loved his family The story was especially strong when it came to describing characters When it came to Gulliver Dean Swift presented his courageous spirit beautifully He described how Gulliver decided to follow his passion how he felt when he met the Brobdingnagians When
The Author Described Gulliverauthor described Gulliver sea it felt as if I was there myself I was shocked when the author mentioned that a giant bird had picked Gulliver s cage a was soaring for the skies I think everyone should read this book as it also talks about trust and truth It talks about friendship and bondin. country and the people from the world It was too peaceful So I felt a little bored But in totaland the people from the world It was too peaceful So I felt a little bored But in total like this book And I want to watch the movie version again thanks I borrowed this book from a friend because I just want to compare which is better the book or the movie And after reading this I find it better and funnier in some waysI also noticed that in the movie as far as I can remember it just gave us some teasersclue that again Gulliver is in another strange countryplace and that s it But in the book they continued the journey of Gulliver in the land of the giants the Brobdingnag which for me is better because the authors didn t let its readers hung up and wonder what will happen next instead they ended it just the way it should beI like this book If you want some light reading well this book is for you Plus you can also read it in just a couple of hours because the book is just thin yet it is detailed I love the way the authors retold this book this book was actually very awesome and you should definitly read it But do nt get upset if it s nothing like the movie c ause it s actually BETTER So read it Nice story that is organized in a logical seuence in that it is a chapter book This is a classic story about Gulliver who travels to a far off land It is an imaginative story that is good for young readers Very little use of conventions of Standard English in that there is not much conversation but the book has comma uses capitalization punctuation Illustrations also help with the story There is also voice as the author does a good job in getting the reader to understand what the story is about It s easy to read as it s most likely for children It s my id s book report story Or stories since it includes two adventures The sentences and some words would be difficult for a child to understand It might also be hard to imagine the measurements Are they relative to Gulliver or to the place where he found himself Also I don t like that Gulliver is away from his family a lot Clingy much Joshie loves this book Ories with you Check out this video of one of our favorite stories Gulliver's Travels SUBSCRIBE Fol Gulliver's Travels KidsGen Gulliver's Travels One stormy night at sea a ship was wrecked All the passengers on board drowned except Lemuel KidsGen Gulliver's Travels One stormy night at sea a ship was wrecked All the passengers on board drowned except Lemuel Gulliver was a excellent swimmer and Gulliver's stories Book WorldCatorg Designed for younger readers of the classics Gulliver's Stories is based on Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels the hilarious and incredible adventures of a man who finds himself first as a feared giant in the world of tiny people of Lilliput and then as a man of minuscule proportions in a country full of giants Gulliver's Travels in English | Stories for Teenagers Parental Guidance Some material of this video may not be suitable for children below years of age Gulliver's Travels in English | Story | English Sto.
