Ew existedThis book is rated XXX and is intended for MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY As I awoke this morning this book review was writing itself in my head and I am now constrained to write it This book was recommend to me by an acuaintance who said it was better written than and is hotter than Fifty Shades The author a man is also a friend of hers While I hated Grey I have read the three Fifty Shades books four times each and was really looking forward to a better written and hotter read than they This book is not it How do I now Almost right off the bat I discovered a sentence that read It s just me and her There are days when I despair that according to all available evidence I am the last person in the world who remembers that verbs of being are intransitive and take the predicative nominative on either side Hence this sentence should read It s just she and I Later on it s clear that the author can t eep names straight On page one Amanda s boyfriend s name is Billy then Brandon then back to Billy Lack of attention to details bother me In her first outing Master gives Jennifer some very specific instructions no purse but in her coat pocket she is to carry her credit car cell phone and driver s license But not her eys How is she supposed to get back into her apartment If Prussing is going to the trouble to list what she can carry please be responsible enough to let her get back into her homeI have to wonder if this book was professionally edited Or as is the case with so many independently published novels did the author rely solely on the spell check
Aside from the detail of the boyfriend s name in their telephone conversation Master says he has light brown hair andfrom the detail of the boyfriend s name in their telephone conversation Master says he has light brown hair and eyes but when Jennifer sees his hair it s black So it it s very clear to me the writing is actually worse in Letting Go than it is in Fifty Shades because while E L James also got her predicative nominatives incorrect at least she was consistent with characters names and basic detailsAnd if an author is going to claim that his writing is better than E L James his writing has to be than merely grammatically correct His writing would have to engage me into the story and Prussing failed to do that The first sexual encounter is written so clinically that I have no sense of Jennifer s emotion I was invested in the ad on Craig s List and their email and telephone calls than I was when they were finally together There is too much telling and not enough showing I didn t feel anything exce. Ide of the ad is a man who seems able to peer inside her head and heart at will When Jennifer nocks on his door she is drawn into a sensual and sexual world she never new existedThis book is rated XXX and is intended for MATURE AUDIENCES ONLYReader Review To say this story is.

*NAKED THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE *That is supposed to be exciting HowComparisons with Fifty Shades are inevitable One of the criticisms I constantly read is that Christian does not instruct Anastasia about the BDSM experience before he initiates her into it And yet I remember a lengthy contract they negotiate with a great many details spelled out with many health concerns and responsibilities for both of them spelled out Where this discussion about health concerns and responsibilities in Letting Go Because the first time Master sticks it in Ya now really sad thing about giving this story two stars is that I really liked it What I don t like is an author ends the book right in the middle of the story so you have to buy the next one to even finish the scene that the book ended on You can t even call it a cliffhanger because it s not it s just a ploy to get you to plop down 399 for the next installment of the story Sadly I think this is a growing trend with authors Would I like to read the next part absolutely Will I give the author my money nope If the next installment is as short as the first it s not worth the cost Nor would I just on principal I wonder how many people have checked CraigslistThe prologue lures you in like a fly to honey or should I say a moth to a flame By the second chapter you have not only shut and locked the door you have also taken the phone off the hook You re not going to want anything to interrupt this storyJennifer is like many of us Some of her book boyfriends are probably the same ones we have Unlike us though she doesn t leave it at that She goes looking for him Hence the Craiglist reference Oh to be young again and now Baskin Robbins is right there are at least 31 flavors besides vanilla S T Prussing weaves a wonderful adventure for our Jennifer So well in fact that by the end of the story Jennifer has become insert your name hereYou will feel her curiosity trepidation and excitement of what she is looking for and the unknown she finds You are so going to love this bookIndulging my imagination and waiting anything but simply for Book Two
