D I d be hard up to find the second time reading this reat book might end up being like reading the second which I didn t find as funny or as Everything Happens for a Reason: And Other Lies I've Loved great as the first Who knows maybe its age maybe its just the second book but the first I found funny memorable andreat It was an awesome time reading the story and The Prime Minister of Paradise going along with Cody on his journey I loved the romance between Cody and Ileana I loved the friendship between Cody and Justin I despised Gregor I freaking loved the ending where every vampire sees the potential of the fairer and smaller vampire who need blood I mean you have to admit the book overall is prettyreat right I loved Dracula even and I loved Cody s journey and his struggles For a fictional book I found them realistic cause let s face it every new kid on the block struggles to find their place in the world without compromising who they are rightIn any case reading this book made me happy and I truly loved every aspect of it It was just right in every way for a feel ood ending and overall read So I recommend this book to every young teen and young adult even who loves vampires and wants a different spin on them Because thinking back on the time I read this book I only find happy humorous and satisfied memories Update 2019 After many years I have finally reread this wonderful classic from my youth It was as I thought it would be definitely not as reat as the first time but then again that s the way it is with any book or film even I mean after all once you ve read and or seen it you ve read and or seen it The wonders of first discovery can never be Recaptured Unless You Know You Unless you know you yourself stricken with complete and total amnesia In any case despite it not being as wonderful as the first time and while at times I wasn t as involved as I should have been it really was The Sisters of Sinai great rereading this bookIt was old familiar like catching up with a friend I might not have laughed as well as I had when I d first read it but like I said this is my second time reading it Not the first Instead of wonderful and downright hilarious discoveries this time around it felt like catching up with an old and very dear friend I fell right into it And I don t just mean the spacing and pace make this an easy and somewhat light read I mean like two peas in a pod I fell right back into it No Like a puzzle piece falling into place That s it And honestly it wasreat That feeling And it really is such an easy book to read And simply a reat story And if you re reading it for the first time around it s a barrel of laughs I tell you And if not then there s something wrong with YOU It s a really reat high school story and a new spin on a very old enre The characters are reat and the pace is steady I loved every minute of it There wasn t one chapter or set of pages where I felt or thought come on already That being said rereading this book now older and wiser I feel like there are some weird sentences and possible mistakesBut hey I m not a writer nor an English major so I could totally be wrong But that s what I thought and it felt weird Like how did I miss this the first time around
BUT LIKE I SAID I WAS YOUNGER AND EVEN like I said I was younger And even now it s still Dark Passage great Like it s a young adult book that can reach across time and still interest my aging heart lol I really really recommend this book to any young person who likes books about vampires It s not just about vampires In a way it s a vampire book that has it s vampires take a whole backseat Instead Mr Rees injects into the pages of this book stuff like high schooletting into it and fin. Ují A když mu nový kamarád ukáže své tesáky Cody nepotřebuje vědět víc tyhle děti jsou upíři Zatímco se Cody snaží zapadnout do této tajuplné komunity a s některými spolužáky se spřátelit naruší odvěkou izolaci panující. ,
Cody s family moved from CA to New Sodom MA and he hates it here He American Military History and the Evolution of Western Warfare got all Fs on his report card even homeroom and hopes they willo back Instead his parents send him to Vlad Dracul High Where as it turns out the school is full of vampires or Jenti as they prefer They keep a few nonvamps such as Cody or Gadje in order for them to be on the water polo team to keep the schools accrediation Those who do Delivering Your Mail: A Book About Mail Carriers (Community Workers) get a free ride Only Cody finds that he wants to earn hisrades after all And makes some very different friends in the process This was a very fun read I found this to be really fun could recommend to "6TH GRADE AND UP FOR ANYONE "grade and up for anyone for a light entertaining read Cody s family has moved from California to Massachusetts and he is NOT happy about it His father finds an elite school for him to attend and all he has to do is to play water polo Why is that And why are so many of the kids sooo tall And so serious And so smart And weird Cody is definitely taken with the beautiful Ileana and he does make a new friend in Justin and he starts to hear enough information the beginnings of an explanationIn spite of this book being full of characters who are yes vampires it is sweet and light and enjoyable I think that it was super ood It was very
Uplifting And It Wasand it was for me to put down once I started reading it It shows that anybody can have a change of heart over time this particular situation being Cody not caring about school and flunking all his classes in the beginning and by the end he was well known and cared deeply about his new school in the end Vampire High is about a boy named Cody Elliot who does bad in school His parents decide to transfer him to a different school His parents tried to et him into Vlad Dracul a school for students with high Easy Breezy Miracle grades Codyets into this school and ets ood Get Fast!: A Complete Guide to Gaining Speed Wherever You Ride grades just because he joins an extracurricular activity He finds out that he is in a school for vampires and also finds out why he has beenetting The Pleasant Light of Day goodrades because vampires can t join sports that involve water believing that they would turn into some sort of seal like animal This book in some ways is funny and weird Weird being because he is in a school of vampires and
To Find Out That You Re Surroundedfind out that you re surrounded a bunch of vampires would need some etting used to The book is funny because Cody comes home with a report card failing all of his classes and is proud of it He even manages to fail homeroom and ym The evidence is in the text Anyone who reads the first few pages of this book will be cracking up Vampire High by Douglas Rees I read this book a few years ago by now and have not reread it Hence why I m oing to do a short review because my memory is a little spotty Just about the details however I remember the overall story well enough and I remember my feelings whilst reading this book even better The reason I rated this book five whole stars all those years back was because I simply loved this book The characters were lively detailed and lovable What s the story was excellent and the dialogue had me in stitches That is what I remember the most this book had me cracking up every few pages That is why it is such a reat book to read Admittedly I read the first and second books years apart and I wasn t as charmed nor as hud with the second book as I was with the first and I fear its because instead of being a time thing its an age thing Perhaps my being older changed my view of Cody and his world perhaps this is a book that only suits younger readers but I sure as heck hope not That s why I m afraid to rerea. ,

recommend this book to anyone that is interested in high school dramas This is a thoroughly charmingthis book to anyone that is interested in high school dramas This is a thoroughly charming book with a fabulous world and cast of characters Cody and his peers are very much teenagers and deal with the supernatural not as heroes but as high school students There are only a few places in the book where I cringe in sympathetic embarrassment and the triumphant ending is delightful Ethan review Cody Elliot s The Prodigal Prophet: Jonah and the Mystery of God's Mercy goes to school at Massachusetts public high schoolAnd Cody wants too back to California so he puts his plan into actionBut it ended up backfiring when his dad had another idea in mind to transfer him to a new high schoolThe school his dad transfer him to is called Vlad Dracula Magnet School the school was one of the best school out thereThe next day he and his dad went to the school to enroll him in the schoolHe was enrolled in the school now he was not too happy about it but he has not seen anything to his new school like that in any other school he had seen before So now Cody now stuck in that schoolHis first day the class had already started he walk in and no one turns or even talk to him Cody tried to talk to others but no luke So he tries again during lunch he was amazed at the variety of foodAnd the lunch room was like a really fancy dining roomThen finally he Deal Maker (Mixed Messages Book 2) (English Edition) gets a response and theirl he Godmanstone Blues gave a note to talk to him then and said it is normal toive these notes to each otherA few days have passed and Cody made some friends there names are Justin and Ileana then is notice that there are some strange things how the students always place orders at the local blood bank and how most of the students don t like the sunThen Cody made the conclusion that the school were vampiresThen his friend shows him his fangs that were all the proof Cody neededIn my opinion irate this book 810 I ve been slogging through a lot of murder mysteries and needed a lighter read Vampires at a high school I think I ve read this before big sigh Wow this story unlike the others impressed me and was funny and yeah there "was a tear or two on my cheek when I was done and maybe a "a tear or two on my cheek when I was done and maybe a smile on my face Thanks Douglas Rees Wondering if there are books by this author Hmm Off to look This book is what brought me into the world of vampire based series It enthralled me almost as much as Dracula with Lucy I wrote the author an email in 2003 and he actually responded He encouraged me to continue writing It meant a lot and has become a dear memory of mine.
